Your information
What we keep, who sees it, and where it goes.
What we keep
For your account: your name, your email and your password, stored protected. For a booking: the name and phone number you give the host, and your email if you add it. We ask for nothing else.
Who sees it
The place you book sees your contact details, so the host can reach you. Their team members see them only if their role allows it; otherwise your phone and email are partly hidden. Other guests never see them.
Airbnb and Booking.com
The calendar links we share with Airbnb and Booking.com say only which dates are taken, never who booked them or anything about you.
AI apps
An AI app connected to Mabeet as a guest reads only public places, dates and prices. A host's AI app sees only what that person's role allows, and every use is recorded.
Your browser
One cookie keeps you signed in and another remembers your language. Light or dark mode is saved only in your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your data, your choice
From your account you can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account by typing your email. You are signed out everywhere and your email is freed. Your bookings and reviews stay with the host, the reviews without your name.
Paying and refunds
How paying online, refunds and paying the host directly work.
Paying online
Online payments go through Whish or Stripe. You enter your card or Whish details on their pages: Mabeet never sees or stores them.
Refunds
A booking paid online on Mabeet is always refunded in full when it is cancelled, whoever cancels, or when the host declines it or does not answer in time. Once the stay has started it can no longer be cancelled, and nights already stayed are not refunded.
Paying the host directly
Some places ask you to arrange payment with the host. That payment happens outside Mabeet, so it is between you and the host: Mabeet does not record it or refund it.
